Uroš Pretrović
Uroš Petrović was born in 1967 in Gornji Milanovac. Author of the epic poem Usudi Balkana, which consists of 10.000 verses on A4 format (so called combination poetry). He won Dositejevo pero Award, Neven Award (two times), Zmajeve dečje igre Award, etc. Awarded author of children's fiction and educative books dedicated to the creative development of children Founder and editor of global Mensa World Photo Cup. As a photographer, exhibited photos on many expos in Serbia and abroad. Member of Vinci Artists and Poetic Genius Society. President of Mensa – Serbia.

Books published: a novel of epic fantasy „Aven i jazopas u zemlji Vauka“ (2003, 2005), „Priče s one strane“, stories (2004), „Zagonetne priče“, 1–4 (2006–2009), children's horror book „The Fifth Butterfly“ („Peti leptir“, novel, 2007), and interactive graphic novel „Mysteries of Ginkova Street“ („Misterije Ginkove ulice“, 2008).

His books for children and adolescents are groundbreaking in the Serbian literature. His collections of stories, interactive novels in riddles, fantastic stories and puzzles, full of vivid imagination and excentric humour, ask for an active participation of readers, making an exciting adventure out of the reading and teasing the brains of both young readers and adults as well.

His books were translated into Italian, Greek and Hungarian.
